The negative impact on company operations declared by SMEs during the first lockdown has imposed the need to reorganize by modernizing the company culture and encouraging process innovation as a priority for the future. The European Union's Next Generation EU plan provides for the allocation of around 50 billion euros to encourage the digitalisation of the PA and private companies in Italy.

In Job Function Email List the wake of the new priorities on the political agenda, the Digital Innovation Observatory in SMEs of the Polytechnic University of Milan conducted a study on the state of digitalisation of small and medium-sized Italian organisations.
